Fall YOUTH League Begins
For the past several years Del-Tone has been offering a Fall League for youth. This league was designed by local coaches to be flexible and will end with a tournament on September 30, 2023. Open to students in grades 6-12. What makes this league unique is the following:
1.) Competitive, Flexible, and Fun
A) No league fee. B) Shoot when it’s convenient for your family. C) Athletes can shoot as many rounds in a given day as they want. D) Allows youth the opportunity to meet and shoot with other kids. E) Shoot ahead or behind doesn’t matter as long as your 10 rounds are submitted by Sept. 25, 2023. F) Our league is completed before most Fall hunting seasons begin. G) Head to head league tournament at Del-Tone on Saturday Sept. 30. H) Awards for league and tournament. I) To allow more athletes the option to participate we’re allowing athletes to shoot at your home range. Athletes must declare official or practice prior to the start of the round and be scored by an adult or gun club employee. To submit scores take a picture of your score card and email to: tkobienia@apps.isd51.org
2.) Coaches will be available on Monday and Thursdays at Del-Tone if interested.
3.) Athletes can begin registering rounds on Monday, August 14, 2023.
4.) Register for this league by scanning and completing the above Google Form.
Athletes: please see the image below for how you should fill in the score sheet. All ten rounds must be completed by Sept. 25, 2023 to be eligible for league awards and to participate in the Fall Tournament Sept. 30, 2023.
Athlete must identify on the score sheet before they begin the round: A) Date. B) Is the round Official “O” or Practice “P”. C) Grade entering 2023/24 school year. D) First and Last Name (legible please–thank you!)
Scores will be posted by grade level in the club house so participants can follow the results.
