Fall Youth League
It’s not too late to join the Fall Youth League, which runs from Aug. 12th to Sept. 23rd, and is open to students in grades 6-12. Rounds may be shot here at Del-Tone or at any other gun club. A total of 10 scores must be submitted by Sept. 23rd to be eligible for league awards. There is no fee to join.
There will also be a fall tournament held at Del-Tone on September 28th, open to all who participated. To register, complete the following Google form. To submit scores, take a picture of your score card and submit to Coach Todd Kobienia at tkobienia@apps.isd51.org
Super Sporting Clays - NEW!
Begins April 2nd and runs through August 5th. The shooting consists of 8 rounds of 50 target Super Sporting Clays. Shooting takes place in 4 quarters over 4 months. Shooters shoot as individuals, 2 rounds per month minimum and are allowed to shoot as many times as they want, with their highest scores being posted. The calendar is below, and scores can be posted no later than these dates. Top 5 shooters will shoot-off on August 14th!!! – There will be awards. The cost to join is $20 per person.
Skeet
Skeet League runs from Monday, June 10th – August 22nd. The shooting consists of 12 rounds of skeet. Shooting takes place in one continuous stretch over 10 1/2 weeks, with the final day to post scores being August 24th. Teams can have a minimum of 3 shooters and a maximum of 4. Trophies will be awarded to shooters of the top two teams. The fee to sponsor a team is $50.
All trap & skeet league shoot-offs will be held August 26th.
You must shoot shoot-off on, or prior to that date. The end of league party is also on Aug. 26th. All league shooters are welcome to stop out that day for free food and to participate in the 50 target Lewis class trap-shooting tournament.
Regular Fall Trap League
Fall Trap League begins on August 28th and runs through September 25th. It consists of 7 rounds of trap, shot during that time. There is no fee to join. Shooters join as individuals and are randomly put onto teams. Winning team members will receive a 4 round punch card.
Doubles Trap League
Begins Monday, June 10th and runs through August 22nd. The shooting consists of 10 rounds of 50 target doubles. Shooting takes place in 2 separate halves over 10
1/2 weeks. The 1st half of the league runs until July 14th.
Shooters need to post 5 rounds by that date, and will be shooting as individuals up to that point. They will then be placed on 2 person teams for the second 1/2 of the league. Teams will be determined by 1st half league scores, with highest shooter being paired with the lowest, and so on.
The last day to submit 2nd half scores will be August 24th. Trophies will be awarded shooters of the top 2 teams. There is
no fee to join.
Summer Trap League
Begins Monday, May 6th and runs through August 22nd. The shooting consists of 18 rounds of trap. Shooting takes place in 2 separate halves, over 16 weeks. Teams
may have a minimum of 5 shooters and a maximum of 10. All 1st half scores must be submitted by Sunday, July 7th. All second half scores must be submitted by August 22nd. Trophies will be awarded to every shooter of the winning team in each of the three sub-leagues.
The fee to sponsor a team is $120.
Adult / Youth Trap League
Begins Monday, June 10th and runs through August 22nd. The shooting consists of 10 rounds of trap. Shooting takes place in one continuous stretch over 10 1/2 weeks, with the final day to post scores being August 22nd. Teams are comprised of one adult and one youth shooter.
Winning team members will receive a 4 round punch card, good for 4 free rounds of trap or skeet. There is no fee to join.
