DESCRIPTION:The Legacy Tournament – Event Details\n\nJune 26-27\, 2026\nThe Legacy is unprecedented anywhere in the world! \nJoin us at the world’s only cross-discipline tournament for youth\nThis event combines bass fishing and trapshooting into a multi-day competition \n\n\n\nParticipation and Eligibility\n\nScholarships may be awarded by Youth Heritage Outdoors (YHO) for a variety of reasons\, but the primary way to earn a scholarship is to finish as one of the top placing teams in The Legacy tournament each year. When a scholarship is awarded to a single student\, then that student is the sole recipient of the funds. When a scholarship is awarded to a team of two (or more) students\, then the funds are split. For example\, a $5\,000 scholarship awarded to a team of two is designated as $2\,500 per student. Funds cannot be granted or transferred to anyone else. \nScholarship funds will be reserved for a period of two years after the student’s graduation. If funds are unclaimed by that time\, then YHO will place the money back into the general scholarship fund to be used for future events. Scholarships are valid for one school/program year and are not renewable. DESCRIPTION:The bad news is Santa Clause won’t be coming to town for about 8 more months. But the good news is we went out and found the next best thing. 34 time All American trap shooting legend Nora Ross will be bringing her incredible wealth of knowledge and no-nonsense teaching style to Del-Tone on July 10th\, 11th\, & 12th. She will be holding 2 separate classes during that time.\n\n\n\nOn July 10th\, Nora will be teaching a 1 day class which focuses exclusively on trap singles. This is a great class for high school shooters\, league shooters\, or ATA shooters who would like to raise their singles scores. The cost for the 1 day class is $350 and includes lunch.\n\n\n\nOn July 11th & 12th she will be holding a 2 day class which runs the gamut from singles\, to doubles\, to handicap. This is an intensive\, in-depth class for competitive shooters that want to improve all aspects of their game. The cost for the 2 day class is $450 and includes lunch both days.\n\n\n\nThe classes are limited in size to 10 students each and will both fill to capacity\, so do not delay in reserving your spot. SUMMARY:Fall Youth League
DESCRIPTION:It’s hard to believe\, but fall is getting close\, so close in fact that the 2026 Del-Tone Fall Youth League will be kicking off this Monday\, August 10th. Our fall youth league is unique because shooters can register their rounds both at Del-Tone\, or any other club. Scores posted at Del-Tone may be left with us in the clubhouse\, and off-site rounds are collected and recorded by Coach Todd Kobienia of Foley via email. \nThe shooting consists of 10 rounds of trap shot at your convienence anytime between August 10th and September 14th. Participants who shoot all 10 rounds are eligible to compete in the Fall Tournament on September 19th at Del-Tone\, in which there are league awards as well as tournament awards presented. \nTo get registered for the Fall Youth League\, scan the QR code in the attached flyer. \nAlso\, a few things to note from Coach Todd Kobienia:\nYou can shoot your league rounds at any gun club in the country however please check with each gun range on their process as not all gun clubs follow the same procedures. If you’re not shooting at Del-Tone you need to tak a picture of your score card and email it to me (tkobienia@apps.isd51.org). Please remember you must declare on your score card “O” for official “P” for practice prior to the start of the round. Also please make sure your first and last name are legible and include your grade level on the scorecard–If I cannot read your name your score will not be entered. \n2026 DEL-TONE FALL YOUTH LEAGUE PROCESS:\nIf you’re shooting at Del-Tone on Monday or Thursday evenings please stop in the clubhouse and purchase ticket(s) for your round(s) before reporting to the trap range. Eye protection and ear protection are mandatory. Ammo can be purchased at Del-Tone or you can bring ammo with you—however make sure that it’s trap load. Parents if you’re purchasing from other locations please make sure the trap load speed is in that 1145-1180 range—-absolutely no need for 1200+ speed at the 16 yard line. If you have any questions please ask. \nCoaches will be on site by 4pm until close and the last round will be 1/2 hour before the gun club closes. Del-Tone hours of operation do change during our league due to sun setting earlier so watch for information posted on the door of the clubhouse.
