DESCRIPTION:With the holidays winding down\, we’re beginning to look towards the 2026 AIM trapshooting season. Our first shoot is this Sunday\, January 4th. Registration begins at 11:00AM with shooting at 12:00PM. The event will be 100 singles targets. We also have shoots scheduled for Feb. 1st & Mar. 1st.\n\n\n\nFor those of you not familiar with AIM\, it is the youth branch of the Amateur Trapshooting Association. For any jr. high to high school age shooters who plan to shoot competitively for many years to come\, this is the organization to belong to as it is the governing body for most the competitive trapshooting across the country. We have noticed\, and it is no small coincidence that many\, if not most of the states top high school shooters also compete in AIM/ATA\, so we highly recommend young shooters to get involved.\n\n\n\nThese are a great way for younger shooters to being shooting in the ATA\, stay competitive throughout the winter\, and shoot for medals and recognition on the various all-state\, all-zone\, and all-star teams. These are youth only trap-shoots. The scores are official and are registered with ATA. Shooters must be members of the ATA & AIM in order to compete. The cost for 100 targets is $36\, plus the daily ATA/MTA fees which total $8. DESCRIPTION:Not sure what to get your significant other this Valentines Day? Here’s your chance to really impress your sweetheart. Stop on out\, shoot in the jackpot\, have yourself a nice hot bowl of homemade soup\, and have a chance to go home with some prize money and a box of chocolates. Just imagine the look on his or her face when you come strolling in with a handful of cash and candy! In the event that you don’t hit it big\, you’ll still have some fun and get to hang out with friends. Better yet\, bring your better half along and spend the day together. \nFor those of you who are wondering\, a jackpot shoot is a laid back\, fun shoot with a chance to win some money back\, and in this case a box of chocolates will also go to the first six people with 25 straights (one per shooter max). In the event that there are not six 25’s\, we’ll go down to 24’s. Each round consists of 50 targets. The first 25 targets are shot from the 16 yard line\, and the second 25 targets are shot from a further back (handicap) yardage\, which is typically your 1st score plus 2. \nSo\, for instance if you break a 23 in your first round\, your second round will be shot from the 25 yard line. This assumes you are no further than 2 yards separated from the person shooting to either side of you\, and no more than 3 yards from anyone else on your squad. If that is the case you will need to step back as far as necessary to make that possible. Also\, if your assigned ATA handicap yardage is greater than your first score would place you\, you must shoot your ATA yardage. \nThe scores are added together for a total out of 50. They are then compiled from highest to lowest and broken down into classes\, which means you can still win in a lower class even with a less than stellar score. The more people there are\, the more classes there can be and the more money goes into the pot. The cost to enter is $22\, with $5 of that going into the payout. You may enter as many times as you like. Homemade soup is on the house. Shooting begins at 11:00am sharp\, so if you want a chance at the chocolate\, we recommend getting here early and getting on one of the first waves out.

DESCRIPTION:The Legacy Tournament – Event Details\n\nJune 26-27\, 2026\nThe Legacy is unprecedented anywhere in the world! \nJoin us at the world’s only cross-discipline tournament for youth\nThis event combines bass fishing and trapshooting into a multi-day competition \n\n\n\nParticipation and Eligibility\n\nScholarships may be awarded by Youth Heritage Outdoors (YHO) for a variety of reasons\, but the primary way to earn a scholarship is to finish as one of the top placing teams in The Legacy tournament each year. When a scholarship is awarded to a single student\, then that student is the sole recipient of the funds. When a scholarship is awarded to a team of two (or more) students\, then the funds are split. For example\, a $5\,000 scholarship awarded to a team of two is designated as $2\,500 per student. Funds cannot be granted or transferred to anyone else. \nScholarship funds will be reserved for a period of two years after the student’s graduation. If funds are unclaimed by that time\, then YHO will place the money back into the general scholarship fund to be used for future events. Scholarships are valid for one school/program year and are not renewable. But the good news is we went out and found the next best thing. 34 time All American trap shooting legend Nora Ross will be bringing her incredible wealth of knowledge and no-nonsense teaching style to Del-Tone on July 10th\, 11th\, & 12th. She will be holding 2 separate classes during that time.\n\n\n\nOn July 10th\, Nora will be teaching a 1 day class which focuses exclusively on trap singles. This is a great class for high school shooters\, league shooters\, or ATA shooters who would like to raise their singles scores. The cost for the 1 day class is $350 and includes lunch.\n\n\n\nOn July 11th & 12th she will be holding a 2 day class which runs the gamut from singles\, to doubles\, to handicap. This is an intensive\, in-depth class for competitive shooters that want to improve all aspects of their game. The cost for the 2 day class is $450 and includes lunch both days.\n\n\n\nThe classes are limited in size to 10 students each and will both fill to capacity\, so do not delay in reserving your spot.
